Major Highway Expansion Project Reaches Milestone
The 120-kilometer expressway connecting the capital to the industrial corridor is now 65% complete and on track for early completion.

The ambitious 120-kilometer Eastern Expressway project has reached a critical milestone, with construction now 65% complete and officials confirming the project remains on track for completion six months ahead of schedule.
The expressway, which connects the capital to the eastern industrial corridor, will feature six lanes, 12 interchanges, dedicated truck lanes, and intelligent traffic management systems. Upon completion, travel time between the capital and the port city will be reduced from three hours to just 75 minutes.
