The national mental health support hotline has received over 50,000 calls in its first year of operation, far exceeding initial projections and demonstrating the profound need for accessible mental health services in the country.
The 24/7 hotline, staffed by trained counselors and clinical psychologists, provides crisis intervention, referrals, and emotional support to callers from all walks of life. Data from the service reveals that callers aged 18-35 account for 60% of all contacts.
