New Regional Hospital Opens with Advanced Surgical Unit

The Western Region has welcomed a state-of-the-art 250-bed regional hospital, marking the most significant healthcare infrastructure investment in the region in over two decades. The facility includes the country first dedicated pediatric cardiac surgery center.

The hospital features six operating theaters, a 30-bed intensive care unit, modern radiology and diagnostic imaging departments, and a fully automated laboratory. The pediatric cardiac unit will perform open-heart surgeries on children with congenital defects.
