Parliament Approves Landmark Education Reform Bill

The National Parliament has officially passed the highly anticipated Education Reform Bill during a marathon session that stretched late into the night. The legislation, which garnered bipartisan support, introduces sweeping changes to the country education landscape.

Key provisions include a 25% salary increase for teachers, a revised national curriculum emphasizing STEM subjects, mandatory digital literacy classes starting from primary school, and expanded vocational training pathways for secondary students.

"This is a historic moment for our children and our future," said the Minister of Education during the post-vote press conference. "We are building an education system that prepares every child for the challenges of the modern world."

The bill also allocates significant funding for rural school infrastructure, including internet connectivity, science laboratories, and modern libraries.
